Long-time community advocate, volunteer and environmentalist, Mary Asselstine is excited to announce her run for Councillor for Ward 4. Mary has been active in the community for over 30 years and has provided leadership in the founding and operation of the Dufferin Marsh Nature Connection, the Schomberg Community Farm and Climate Action King.
Mary is a strong believer in “complete communities” which strives to meet the needs of all residents. With your help and her experience in municipal planning, Mary is ready to fight for good public transit, diversity of housing, and local employment/business opportunities while protecting our greenspaces, and village character.
