Donations

Please review the Municipal Elections Act requirements below before making a donation.

Requirements

  • Only Individuals can contribute (donations from corporations or business are not allowed)

  • Individuals must be a resident of Ontario

  • The maximum an individual can contribute to a single candidate is $1,200

  • The maximum a contributor can give in total to various candidates in the same jurisdiction is $5,000 

  • Donations are not eligible for a refund
