What is a Jane's Walk?

Jane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, community-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs. On the first weekend of May every year, Jane’s Walk festivals take place in hundreds of cities around the world. Jane’s Walks encourage people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use walking as a way to connect with their neighbours. The Jane's Walk festival is largely volunteer-run and donor-funded. You can learn more about Jane's Walk online by visiting https://janeswalk.org/

Join Jane's Walk King Township for our 2nd year of festivities! For more information about Jane’s Walk, the schedule of events, and to RSVP, visit JanesWalk-King.ca or contact Jane's Walk King directly: janeswalk.king@gmail.com
